HTC One X passes through the FCC

Looks like it isn’t just the ASUS-branded tablet getting some love from the FCC. The One X by HTC has officially passed through the FCC’s labyrinth, and with it it shows off those AT&T bands so necessary to launch on Big Blue’s network this year. Unfortunately, while it would be great to learn some interesting secret about HTC’s next flagship device, there’s not much within the FCC filing that we didn’t already know.

Specifically, we know that the handset will be connecting to AT&T’s HSPA+ network, as well as the LTE network with LTE radio bands 4 and 17 tucked inside. Other tidbits of information include the version of Android running on the device, which is Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other than that, the filing is pretty weightless. But, at least we know that the FCC is perfectly okay with HTC’s high-end One series device coming to the States. At least we know it isn’t bloated.
