HTC releases an updated Ice Cream Sandwich update list

As per usual, another company has come forward and released yet another list of devices that will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. This isn’t HTC’s first time, either. The manufacturer is certainly trying to keep everyone informed as to which devices will be upgraded to the latest version of Android. You can check out the full list below.

  • DROID Incredible 2
  • Amaze 4G
  • Desire S
  • Desire HD
  • EVO 3D
  • EVO Design 4G
  • Incredible S
  • Sensation
  • Sensation XL
  • Sensation 4G
  • Sensation XE
  • Raider
  • Rezound
  • Rhyme
  • ThunderBolt
  • Vivid

It’s interesting to see that the Velocity isn’t on the list, even if its sister device, the Vivid, is. We saw a report yesterday that suggested the Velocity in Australia was getting updated already. HTC points out that the software update roll-out for the Sensation and Sensation XE have already begun, but that it will become more readily available in the coming weeks.

I think that they need to add devices like the Evo and Evo Shift to the list. If the rumors are true, then the HTC Golf (which would be shipping with ICS) has basically the same specs as the Evo and Evo Shift just with a smaller screen.
