During the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas back in January, Huawei pulled the wraps off their thinnest smartphone ever, titled the Ascend P1. The device was certainly one of the most noteworthy handsets revealed at the trade show, and people have been eagerly awaiting to hear when the handset will begin makings its rounds across the globe.
ePrice went to a Huawei event recently, and the company had their thin Android-powered smartphone on display, ready to be shown off to everyone in attendance. During the event, though, the manufacturer revealed that the Ascend P1 will be making its way into the retail world beginning in April. Specifically, it should see a launch sometime mid-April within the borders of China. It will be launched in other markets at some point after that, but no exact dates were provided.
It’s good to see that Huawei is trying to release the handset as soon after its launch as possible. April isn’t that far off, especially if you happen to live in China and you’ve been anticipating picking up this new phone. Of course, if you’re in France, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Russia, the UK or Australia, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
