About mid-way through the month of January, Amazon released the software update 6.2.2 for their Kindle Fire. While the last update had one big alteration in mind (full-screen Web browsing), there wasn’t much else included in the download. That changes with the latest update, bringing the software version to 6.3, as there are plenty of improvements to be had.
Among them, you’ll be able to share notes directly from books, along with being able to store documents for obtaining them later. There are other changes included, one of which includes a new “Reading mode” in the Silk Browser. So go ahead and get your download on, if your Kindle Fire hasn’t already installed it, and let us know what you think of the latest software.
