Motorola XOOM WiFi set to receive Android 4.0.4 update

It hasn’t been that long since the WiFi-only version of Motorola’s XOOM tablet received its last update, but it looks like Motorola is geared up to release another one. This time, it’s a bump up in the version of Android, bringing the tablet to Android 4.0.4, along with some additional goodies for owners of the tablet.

After downloading and installing the software release, you will notice:

Enhancements:

Quicker screen rotation
A new setting to choose whether the power button immediately locks the device or not
Microsoft Exchange improvements with additional EAS policies
Better phone number recognition
Camera and image quality improvements
Improved stability

The improved stability and improvements to the overall image quality and camera are probably some of the best additions in this update, and it should make it even more worthwhile to owners.
