Back at the end of January, the Epic 4G Touch by Samsung received a software update that included plenty of minor tweaks and security enhancements. While it wasn’t a major update, an update is an update. And now it looks like the device is set to receive another one. Posted in the Sprint community forums on March 23rd, this particular update is meant to fix some of the issues that the last update apparently caused for some owners.
Specifically, this update is meant to address the force closes that some Epic 4G Touch owners are experiencing. The update is being rolled out in stages, as usual, so if you’ve received the notification to download it already, congratulations. If not, keep on waiting. Or you could try to pull the update down from the cloud, if you just can’t wait any longer.
Let us know what you think of the new software once you receive it, won’t you?
