Android 4.0.3 is the official Android version running on the Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus, but that could change as soon as next month. New rumors are stating that the phone could receive a bump to Android 4.0.5. Sure, that may seem like a minor revision, but it’s said to contain fixes to many problems on the device. The Galaxy Nexus is due for an update, and next month could be the time it sees just that.
We’re not exactly sure what bug fixes will be on board, but hopefully it will fix some things like speaker problems and reboot issues. We won’t be entirely sure until we see an official changelog, but that couldn’t be too far off. Again, take this with a grain of salt, as it is only a rumor. Who’s excited for the Andorid 4.0.5 update? Is it worth losing a custom ROM? Let us know in the comments!
