We know that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has already been released to the UK-based carriers as of last week, but obviously the carriers need to do their testing so that they can release the update to the awaiting owners. We’ve already heard from O2 UK that they will be releasing the latest version of Android to the Galaxy S II sometime by mid-April, and now Orange UK is following in the same steps.
In a new report from EuroDroid, Orange UK has confirmed that they won’t be releasing the Android 4.0 update until April, at the earliest. Much like O2 UK’s update, there’s no exact date to look forward to. Still, Orange UK’s expected update timeframe seems a bit less concrete at this point, so let’s hope that they are able to push it out next month.
