VIZIO VTAB1008 now receiving update to Android 3.2
Vizio hasn’t exactly been known for their Android tablets, but they did release the VTAB1008. When it was first released, it ran a modified version of Android 2.3. Vizio is now doing the tablet justice, and updating it to the tablet-friendly Android 3.2, also know Honeycomb. Users are now receiving prompts for the update, which is being done over-the-air. It’s also worth noting that the physical buttons on the tablet will be disabled, instead favoring the onscreen buttons of Honeycomb. While it isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich, it should still keep many owners happy. Who owns a VTAB? Have you seen the update yet? Let us know in the comments!

Bought the tablet it arrived last night, I turned it on, it requested permission to update, I allowed it. I hung at the vizio V for about 4 minutes, then it restarted itself. After that it did another download, rebooted itself, and worked fine I have had no problems.
