ZTE Fury for Sprint landing on March 11

We first saw the Fury by ZTE in a leaked document, and back then we didn’t have a strong lead as to when the device might be landing on the Now Network. But Sprint has decided to officially announce the device today, along with a launch date and a price tag to boot. While there was never any guess if this device would be then next bigh-end device to crave, it’s been confirmed that it’s another mid-range device that’s oriented towards the folks who don’t want to spend a lot of money, but still want that Android experience.

The ZTE Fury features a 3.5-inch display, and there’s a 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood. There’s a 5MP camera on the back, with no mention of a front-facing shooter. The handset will come with 4GB of built-in storage, but you’ll be able to expand that with a microSD card. It will be launching with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and you’ll be able to use it as a mobile hotspot if you wish. It will also come with Sprint ID.

The device launches on March 11th for $19.99, with a new two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. The full press release is down below.
