While ASUS may have announced the Transformer 300 in February at Mobile World Congress, they left out a few key details — price and availability. Fast forward to today as now Asus is ready to rollout the red carpet for the NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered quad-core processing tablet featuring Android 4.0.3. Sales begin online tomorrow, April 23rd and in-store options begin on April 30th depending on stock availability.
Pricing will be $379 for a 16GB option and $399 for the 32GB variant. The TF300 also has a optional keyboard dock that will give you some extra hardware love (and battery life) for $149.99. The TF300 releases in royal blue, torch red or iceberg white. Only the blue model is initially available with the red and white variants expected to arrive sometime in June.
The Transformer Pad TF300 packs a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 display, 1.2 Megapixel camera on the front, 8 megapixel shooter on the rear, 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
One key detail for previous Transformer TF101 and Transformer Prime TF201 owners — the docking station is not backwards compatible.
With a great price for a fully packed tablet, who is ready to dive in tomorrow with an online purchase?
