Did Samsung Accidentally Slip The ‘Galaxy S3′ Name Into Their Android App?

The release of Samsung’s Mobile Unpacked 2012 app in the Google Play store is yet another piece of the puzzle Samsung is putting together for the launch of the Galaxy S III device. Or is it the Galaxy S3. Whoops, Samsung may have accidentally thrown in the launch name of their next flagship device in the Google Play app description for their Mobile Unpacked 2012 app.

A closer inspection yields that these two words are actually tags and not part of the app description however, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen and heard the ‘Galaxy S3′ name. So far, Samsung is referring to the device only as “The Next Galaxy,” allowing for the company to thrown in any and all tags that might reference the app now and in the future.

While the “Galaxy S III” name may predominate news headlines for the moment given Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy S II launches, we won’t know anything for certain until May 3rd. Still, we’re having a lot of fun guessing.
