We could have seen this coming as Google Drive surpasses 5 million Android downloads less than 48 hours after launch. Haven’t started with Google Drive yet? Well, here’s what you need to know:

• Drive provides new users 5GB free for each user account, upgrades are 25GB for $2.49 a month, 100GB for $4.99 a month or even 1TB for $49.99 a month
• Docs storage does not count against your Google Drive storage allotment
• Desktop apps are already available for Windows and OS X
• Drive allows 30+ different file types to open natively in the browser, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and HD video even if you don’t have the apps installed on your computer
