The HTC EVO 4G LTE is definitely worthy of the EVO moniker as it prepares to launch on Sprint’s network as the third LTE-ready handset. The EVO 4G LTE is based on HTC’s One X adding a kickstand and using a slightly differentiated design. Pre-orders for the device start May 7th, but the page for the upcoming smartphone is already live on Sprint’s website. You’ll still need to wait until May 7th to take advantage of any early ordering though.
The EVO 4G LTE features a 4.7″ Super LCD 2 display with 720p resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.0 underneath the latest version of HTC Sense.
Check Sprint’s website for all the details.
