In one day, HTC and Sprint are expected to unveil a brand new One series device that should bring plenty of attention back to Sprint and Android fans who have been waiting for a high-end Android device to land on the network. While nothing has been confirmed quite yet, there have been plenty of rumors going around, obviously, and this morning we may have the best one yet. What you’re looking at above, in between the One X for AT&T and the One S with its T-Mobile branding, is apparently the One for Sprint.
As these renders usually do, the talk is that this is indeed what we’re going to d see tomorrow. Folks are pointing out that the weather widget has April 4th listed as the date, which is tomorrow, and the day we’re all expecting to hear the announcement. As you can see from the renders, the One for Sprint does look a bit different than the other two devices, which is good for Sprint customers who don’t want to be carrying around the exact same device as AT&T subscribers.
As far as rumored specifications go, we’re still hearing that the One will feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, with an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×720. The battery is rumored to be measured in at 2650mAh, and it will be a Sprint-branded 4G LTE device. It should launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, along with HTC’s Sense 4.
We should know more tomorrow, so stay tuned!
