HTC Sensation Ice Cream Sandwich Update Rolling Out In The US…For Cincinnati Bell

Well, this is a sticky situation. In the US, the HTC Sensation is known mostly for its variant on T-Mobile. That handset gained decent sales, and was a fairly popular phone. One of the more odd things about it is that we haven’t heard anything about its update to Ice Cream Sandwich, despite being near identical handsets to the international variants (which already have the update). Now we have word that the HTC Sensation is in fact getting Ice Cream Sandwich in the US, but instead of the 4th largest carrier in the US rolling it out, small regional carrier Cincinnati Bell is.

The update is the same as others we seen from HTC lately, bringing the phone to Android 4.0, but instead of Sense 4.0 on top, it’s Sense 3.6. We expected such, but did not expect that Cincinnati Bell would be the first ones out the gate. Any readers have a Sensation on Cincinnati Bell? Just on Cincinnati Bell?
