As if there was any question that the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX would outperform other smartphones on the market with its 3300mAh battery, Motorola decided to prove it. Motorola just posted a brand new promo video testing the RAZR MAXX battery life against that of the Apple iPhone 4S and LG Spectrum in a Navigation contest.
If you guessed the RAZR MAXX would be the victor, you’d be right as the iPhone 4S died out at the 3:45 hour mark, and the LG Spectrum, even a larger battery over the iPhone died at 2:27 hours. The RAZR MAXX still had half its battery left when the iPhone died allowing for the RAZR MAXX to continuously navigate for over 7 hours.
The LG Spectrum and RAZR MAXX were tested on Verizon’s LTE network, while the iPhone 4S maintained a 3G connection to Verizon. The test was completed using Verizon’s own VZNavigator service.
