After all the rumors that have surfaced in the last week indicating April 22nd is “go” day for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus launch, is it possible that date is actually wrong? A calendar obtained by TechnoBuffalo highlights in the “introduction of the Galaxy Nexus” on April 22nd which at first glance lines right up with the rumored timeframe. Except TechnoBuffalo says this calendar actually shows the Galaxy Nexus won’t launch on the 22nd. Why?
The assertion is that Sprint won’t launch both the LG Viper 4G and Galaxy Nexus on the same day, thinking that the carrier will give each respective manufacturer their own release date. They suggest that Sprint may actually launch the Galaxy Nexus on the 29th instead?
So what do we think? I don’t know, the calendar states “Introducing the Galaxy Nexus and Android 4.0 training ends” on April 22nd. I see where TechnoBuffalo is coming from and I don’t profess to know Sprint’s release pattern as I’m a T-Mobile guy myself. Still, the calendar itself doesn’t give me any reason to believe we should look at any other date other than 22nd of April. At least not yet.
What do you think? How do you interpret this?
