Samsung’s newest 7-inch tablet, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, was rooted last Friday, and the process was long and not exactly 100% safe. Rooting the Tab 2 7.0 is now as easy as flashing two files, thanks to Samsung’s openness on its devices. If you own a Tab 2 and would like to root it, here are the rooting instructions, which include instructions on flashing ClockworkMod from the original thread.
