Samsung’s Galaxy Countdown Ends, Teaser Video Shows Little, Makes Fun Of iPhone Owners

The countdown is at zero and the time is at hand for Samsung’s next clue — a teaser video that shows not a lot. Sadly, no shadowy look at the upcoming Galaxy S III, instead just some messages about how we should prepare for the one handset that will change our view of the entire world. Be ready to “stand out from everyone else,” I hope that means with quad-core power!

How do you feel about Samsung’s teaser ad? Does it make you more excited, less excited?

You, DROIDdog defending iphone users? Lol, ...... I went from iphone3gs to gs2 and from gtab10.1 to ipad2, i'm no fanboy i just like quality, i like the difference, i buy what i want because i know what i need/like from that specific product, most ios users buy their products just to be cool they don't know what they're buying(yes they act like sheeps), we all know this, it's nothing new, what's the big deal, they stayed with apple even after the ifake4s fraud you actually believe they're considering leaving apple knowing the next iphone is just around the corner?

Andykjm So besides you generalizations, I would really like to hear what, in your opinion, makes a phone "relevant"?

I remember when the 1st iphone came out. One buyer's comment became ATT's slogan: "Now there's a phone for the rest of us." I couldn't help but think, "And who would those be? The ones too stupid to know how to press 10-digits and hit Send"?

But regarding the Galaxy3, as much as I have been Samsung-loyal for several models now (4 or 5), this teaser smacks of insult. They want to criticize iphone-loyals but in so doing criticize anyone loyal to a brand, including their own. Am I a sheep led to slaughter with each new iteration of Samsung being released every 6 months or so? Thankfully, I am not that much of fanboy that I need a new phone every time one is released.

hahaha I've been calling iPhone followers iSheep for a while now.  Most buyers only get the iPhone for the status symbol and the simplicity.  It also takes out the need to use your brain and actually do some spec comparison when shopping.  They just buy the latest model that comes out once a year rather than finding out what is actually at the top of the market.  There are very few users that can actually defend their reasons for having one.

The stereotypical iphone owner has bought an iphone because they think its some kind of status symbol thing. Its just like people who buy a toyota prius because they think they are single handedly saving the world. Its silly.
