Most of these markets are already covered in LTE so these announcements mark more of an expansion than an introduction. The list of markets receiving expanded coverage are:

• Salinas and Monterey
• Stockton
• San Luis Obispo
• Bakersfield
• Introducing LTE to Visalia
• Expanded coverage in Reno, Nevada as well

With AT&T’s LTE working hard to catch up and Sprint’s LTE network still a single launch market away, Verizon isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
