Verizon Software Update Schedule Leaks, Full List Of Upcoming Rollouts

Verizon customers should offer up a big thank you to Reddit user DroidTosser as he  posted up Verizon’s update schedule for just about every device Verizon currently sells. The very first image, the one you see above may be the most pertinent as it highlights the upgrade from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich. Let’s break it down:

The Rezound, RAZR/RAZR MAXX will finish soak tests on May 7th and May 17th respectively with the updates happening just a few days after. The May 9th date and May 21st date for the Rezound and RAZR devices are based on successful soak tests, and assuming Verizon doesn’t need to request any further fixes from Motorola.

So what about some of Verizon’s other devices? According to the rest of the screenshots, the DROID BIONIC, HTC Thunderbolt, LG Revolution, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Xperia Play are all in testing. We can’t say based on these documents exactly what updates are being tested as Ice Cream Sandwich is not specifically listed in this section. The DROID Incredible 2 is also listed as having an update that has been approved, but not set for an OTA push date.

On a side note, the Galaxy Nexus isn’t listed anywhere on these docs. Verizon may or may not list Nexus devices on this Device Update guides.

Does anybody else think this is not real, because my brother has a Rezound and he has been checking for updates for the past 2 weeks and he still hasn't gotten the upgrade to ICS!

tjblume1997 It's real,I have been combing the forums for the Rezound ICS update.  Not sure who to blame, but due to some software bugs they delayed the update by 2 weeks (hearsay).

Assuming that both the original update date and the 2 weeks delay are accurate, we should see the Rezound update sometime by the end of May (around the 23rd)

does anyone else think that the OTA size update for the incredible 2 is wrong at 32 GB?

Uhh-- it says OS Upgrades ie Gingerbread to ICS--- the Nexus already has ICS.  I wonder where the Thunderbolt fell off the list -- and the Bionic.

Looks like still no Update to 4.0.4 for us nexus users =_=

PeterBenedetto  Verizon has had the 4.0.4 update since February. Jean Baptiste head of Android on his google+ page said it was verizon holding up the update and thinks its lousy for them to do so. Sprint's Lte nexus and gsm nexus all have the 4.0.4 update. F-ing BS that verizon doesn't give a F%ck unless its one of their crappy droids. I think they just want to ruin the nexus experience all together, to get people to by more of their bloatware skined crap phones
