Total Commander Hits Play Store, What Can’t It Do?

Total Commander is probably the most powerful file manager on Android. It really does it all, from the average copy/pasting that any file manager does, to zip archive support and a dual panel system to emulate having two instances of the file manager open. And it’s finally on the Play Store! The UI may look ugly in the photo, but it’s slightly better on ICS devices apparently. Still, I’m just not a fan of the UI. I use Solid Explorer, which is gorgeous. But Total Commander can’t be beat in features! And its rating on the Play Store is insanely high, and it was at a 5.0 average earlier. Maybe I'm just a bit cynical but, what is the fuss all about.. there are already at least 2 or three great file explorer apps.. Just seems like there is better new to cover.. I mean heck this website is awesome http://mycolorscreen.com/mostviewed/?os=android and I've never heard anyone mention it.. I was lucky to find it by happenstance..

androids ghost It's all about choice. There is Total Commander, which does it ALL. Solid is gorgeous, and smooth. Others are not so featured. And I do believe DroidDog mentioned mycolorscreen once or twice before, actually. We do write about cool stuff, and editorials, and reviews, but it's also our job to have people keep up with the news, the best phones, the best app, and educate people on what's available.
