AT&T One X Unofficially Rooted, Sadly Still Has Locked Bootloader

Looking for a reason to take advantage of Amazon’s special offer on the HTC One X from AT&T? How about an unofficial root thanks to the super hackers over at XDA Developers? Before you get to excited, the device still has a locked bootloader making it impossible to upload any new ROMs. Even with the bootloader locked, accessing root provides for a higher level of device customization thanks to the likes of Titanium Backup, Chainfire 3D, as well as accessing the device’s CPU clock. The rooting process is fairly easy, but as always, only undertake this process if you’re sure you know what you are doing.
