Am I the only one that finds the price of the HTC One S ridiculous? They charge $200 for this phone, and it isn’t even high end. It has a 4.3″ qHD display. Granted, the rest of the specs match up with high end phones, aside from battery, but the display makes it a much more mid end device. In comparison, both AT&T and Sprint charge $200 for the HTC One X, its big brother that is superior in absolutely every way. It has a 4.7″ 720p display, a bigger battery, and LTE connectivity for both carriers that is a lot faster than T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. I really can’t imagine what drove T-Mobile to price their HTC One S the same as the other carriers’ One X.
Fortunately, Wirefly is celebrating Memorial Day Weekend by pricing the HTC One S at a low $125 with a new contract. To get this great deal, you need to use the coupon code HTCONES25, so go get it! It’s still a great phone, and my criticism is only on the price from T-Mobile.
