The T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G has received its long awaited update to Ice Cream Sandwich. And while this is an absolutely great thing, it hasn’t been smooth sailing. Many people have been losing their 4G connectivity. Luckily, this doesn’t seem to be a major software problem, but a fixable glitch that the update caused. There are a few things you can try to get 4G data back.
First thing you can try is going to your network settings and checking the setting for type of data being used. It should be set to WCDMA/GSM Auto. If it is, try switching it to GSM then back to WCDMA/GSM Auto. If that doesn’t work, try toggling your mobile network on and off, or even airplane mode. It should work by now.
We’re hoping it isn’t a serious or recurring software issue. If you notice more problems, let us know. But most likely, it’s a post-update one time thing, so rest easy for now. Tell us how this fix worked for you in the comments!
