New information has leaked for a couple of Motorola Ice Cream Sandwich devices that are headed to AT&T and Verizon respectively. They are both LTE capable and the first is called the Vanquish, which is slated to be sold globally, but many have seen leaks of it deemed as the Droid RAZR HD for Verizon Wireless. As the name suggests, this will be the first high definition model in the Droid lineup, sporting a 1280 x 720 pixel display. The Vanquish is coming to Verizon under the model number XT926, and in China as the XT922 and XT980, and globally as the XT923 (UMTS) and XT925 (LTE).
Next up is the Motorola Asanti, which is headed to AT&T’s LTE network as the XT898. It’s said to come with a physical QWERTY keyboard and qHD display (960 x 540), the LTE-capable Asanti seems to be eerily similar to Verizon’s Droid 4, probably in a different casing — or it could very well be a GSM re-brand just like the Milestone series of handsets.
And there you have it, any one from AT&T or Verizon excited for these two phones? Seeing as the ‘RAZR HD’ is the high-end device out of these two I’d imagine that has more hype than the Asanti. Let us know in the comments!
