Samsung Galaxy Nexus On Verizon Receiving New OTA Update

Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus has proved to be not too much of a Nexus at all, receiving different updates at different times from the GSM version. Now we’re hearing word that it’s receiving a new over-the-air package, being pushed out to devices now. What the update does isn’t known at this time, but it’s most likely bringing some bug fixes. Keep an eye out for it, and feel free to check for a System Update in Settings.

I had a Nexus S on T-mobile.  Google decided when it got updates.  Verizon decides when its Galaxy Nexus gets

updates.  Google should decide everything about the Galaxy Nexus, just like Apple decides everything about the iPhone.

You don't understand.  I have been very disappointed in Verizon so far.  The service and the updates.

Seriously dude! This isn't an OTA. And please stop with the "It's Not A Nexus" BS. Just because the GSM version gets an incremental update to a different version number it doesn't mean that the CDMA/LTE version needs that update. We can all agree that the CDMA/LTE version has some issues that need addressing. But please stick to facts and stop fanning the flames!

Exactly. I'm like STFU with the "it's not a Nexus" B.S. already. I have the leaked 4.0.4 update for a while anyway
