If you were to care to look, TouchWiz still does have the "dock" at the bottom of the screen on the home screen. As for the design, I really like it. It looks really sleek and really nice and I don't see what people could/should/are complaining about.
@skymitch89 of course it has the dock at the bottom of the homescreen. The fact that the dock disappears when you go into the app drawer is what they tried to do, as the dock stuck on the bottom of the screen throughout the past galaxy models.
You cite the specs but forget to mention that is not what will come to USA.
kanoneyez This is true, but keep in mind there are considerably more Smartphone users outside of the US than there are...inside the US.

The video makes a point and i don't see why everyone hates the design. It has a unique feel. its not another black rectangular slab. Apple releases the same product and its revolutionary Samsung tries something different and its abhorrently evil.

I really don't see what the huge upset over the design is. I actually like it, it looks very streamline and breaks the mold of that black rectangular slab that looks like every other phone. I'm not sure what everyone else is used to, but I prefer rounded corners, they fit very well in the hand. It should be know by now what Samsung prefers to use when making devices, plastics and Gorilla Glass. Honestly its not that bad and they take a fall pretty well.
