Samsung has begun pushing out an over-the-air update bringing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the international variant of the Galaxy Note. The news was broken by Galaxy Note owner Devin Balentina, who received the notification on his phablet. The upgrade weighs in right around 319MB and includes the newest version of TouchWiz, along with a new S Note app and a new S Memo widget for the homescreen.
This update marks a small break in standard operating procedure for Samsung whom normally introduces updates via their Kies desktop software and not over-the-air. Unfortunately, for AT&T customers, you’ll have to wait until the carrier decides to push out the update.
Any international Galaxy Note owners out there seeing the notification pop up?
