Sprint’s Galaxy S III Includes 16GB Storage, Dual-Core CPU

We’ve already heard that Sprint will be among the US carriers expecting to sell the Galaxy S III, but new intel arriving courtesy of the device’s user agent profile is providing us with a little more info. Most of the specs on the LTE capable SPH-L710 are identical to the global version (GT-I9300), with one exception, Sprint’s variant will be powered by Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor. No surprise with the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, we’ve had every indication that’s what we would see on the US variants of the Galaxy S III.

One extra piece of intel taken from the user agent profile is the 16GB of storage, the lowest of the available options Samsung will offer with the Galaxy S III. The Sprint version does have a bonus however, it will offer a 64GB microSD slot according to the user agent profile.

The two questions the user agent profile doesn’t answer: when we see the GSIII arrive in the US and at what price?

evo sounds good except for the non-removable battery....

I was holding out on getting the New Evo 4G LTE just because of the samsung galaxy sIII with the xynos quad core. Now this is making me rethink my decision. Don't get me wrong I'm still glad its coming to sprint but these specs just turned me away.

At that rate I might as well keep my Epic touch. It can take a 64gb card now so the slot isn't a bonus. Also i don't think the camera will perform well without the xynos quad core chipset.

Citlykeye Sorry, but thats the stupidest thing i've heard all year.

It basically got the same camera as the old S2, how would a S4 not perform well with it?

Using your "logic"...(long pause)... software is the ONLY thing stopping my sgs2's camera from performing burst mode or a snap shot during recording. i'm saying its partially the HARDWARE. Next you'll be telling me all 8 mp cameras are created equal, or that the higher Megapixels means better picture quality instead of picture size...Insults aside... leaving a quad core for a dual core will without doubt effect performance. I expect the shutter speeds and smoothness of the camera app to show lag. Do you comprehend me correctly or would you prefer to trade more insults?

When it comes to Sprint, HTC EVO 4G LTE all the way...
