Acer has announced that it’s new Tegra 3, 1080p Iconia A700 tablet will be available online and ”national electronics retailers” throughout the United States starting today.  The 10-inch tablet ships with 32GB of internal storage, officially supports 64GB microSD cards, and be available to purchase in either black or silver models.

The Acer Iconia A700 sports a beautiful 1080p display with an 16:10 aspect ratio.  The 800:1 contrast ratio and 178 degree viewing angles should allow you to view your HD videos with great clarity.  As with most all recent tablets, the A700 will be powered by a Tegra 3 chip and will carry 1GB of RAM on board.
