The comments system in Google Play can be very useful for someone with questions about an app, allowing them to see what other users that have downloaded it to get a better feel. One of the larger issues is that users would download an app, have an issue, then leave it in the comments. That wasn’t the most productive method, as developers could not reply to fix the problem. Google has fixed this though, now allowing certain developers the ability to reply to comments.
Developers with the ‘Top Developer’ badge will be able to take advantage of it, but there are plans to bring it to other developers in the future. This is great news for those frustrated developers who continually received questions in the comments section, as there was previously not much more that could be done. It’s rolling out to Google Play now.
