Apple Successfully Blocks Sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

This evening, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh granted Apple’s request to stop U.S. sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in lieu of an ongoing patent dispute with Samsung.  Although this motion was previously denied in December, the judge acquiesced today saying “Although Samsung has a right to compete, it does not have a right to compete unfairly, by flooding the market with infringing products”.

This ruling will go into effect once Apple posts a $2.6 million bond to “protect against damages suffered by Samsung if the injunction is later found to have been wrong”.

Fucking Apple, a bunch of pussies scared of a little competition...

Oh boy, you really showed them Apple. Why bother coming up with a better product than the competition when you can just sue the competition to death?  Because we all know that the idea for a rectangle screen is yours and yours alone, right?

roboguy12 I find your statement hilarious but absolutely true. What Apply does is do a few tweaks to their product, put it in a shiny case and tell their followers it's the best gadget they'll ever have. Then after 2 months, they'll tweak, put it in a shiny case again and market it to their followers again.

Who cares? The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been replaced by the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Apple got a ban on a 1 year old tablet? Or is the headline incorrect?
