Fantastic news for owners of the AT&T Galaxy S II today. Samsung has announced that the long-awaited Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available for owners of the AT&T Galaxy S II today. The slight downside is that it’s not available as an OTA update but must be downloaded instead through Samsung’s Kies software. This means that you’ll have to grab up your USB cable, get to your computer, and get Samsung’s Kies program up and running. It’s much worth it though as this Android 4.0 update brings numerous improvements over the Gingerbread software that the phone currently runs on.
