Droid RAZR ICS Update Looming, Get Your Taste Early

Word on the street is that Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola Droid RAZR is in its Beta build and has been released to testers.  If you’re not a tester, and you probably aren’t, you don’t have to wait to get a flavor of ICS.  XDA Recognized Contributor [TSON] has provided a “Fool Poof Guide” for installing the latest leaked version of ICS for the Droid RAZR, .211. What I think is awesome about the guide, is that [TSON] offers specific instructions for flashing the ICS ROM when coming from different ROMs such as a stock, non-rooted Gingerbread, or an earlier leaked ICS ROM.  I really appreciate that kind of information because it’s one less thing to worry about in the flashing process.  Additionally, at the end of the original post, a method for rooting your new ICS ROM is provided and it also looks crazy simple.  The link to the latest ICS buildwas added to the thread on the 15th of June and can be found here.  You don’t even need to be rooted to flash the leak, just make sure you follow the instructions as best as you can.

So if you’re someone who can’t seem to follow instructions, you may want to hold off.  But for everyone else, give this a look see if you’re curious about how ICS tastes on your device.  Let us know how it goes and what you think…
