Looks like a single Android device has managed to push past the iPhone as the top selling phone on Verizon Wireless. I’m honestly surprised, considering how often I read “Motorola is doomed and failing” everywhere. To me, it seems like they’re doing perfectly fine for themselves, making the #1 selling phone on one of the biggest carriers in the US and besting a massive company like Apple.
The RAZR MAXX is special because it has one feature no other phone offers: The 3,300 mAh battery. No other phone offers such a huge battery. Paired with 4G LTE, for many consumers this phone is the obvious choice. It’ll have the best of Android and last you all day. The iPhone, of course, has no LTE, making it one of Verizon’s less important phones (they’re trying to push all 4G phones). It helps when Verizon pushes the RAZR MAXX so much more.
