Google Nexus 7 Full Factory Jelly Bean Image Released

Google released the full factory image for their newly announced 7″ tablet, the Nexus 7, on Friday.  The tablet was only announced by Google two days ago at Google I/O, so they’ve been pretty quick about getting the image released.  The Nexus 7 runs the new version of Android, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that people and reviewers have been raving about.  This factory image is there for developers and you, in case anything funny happens to your tablet while developing something new, or something sketchy happens while flashing.  The factory image can be found here, on the Factory Images for Nexus Devices webpage from Google.  To find it, look for the Factory Images “nakasi” for Nexus 7.  Interestingly, the new code name for the device, Nakasi, is a Taiwanese music form which is a shift from previous code names, possibly because its the first Nexus tablet.  So, this is an exciting development, and there’s one more puzzle piece in place towards some serious development being done on the Nexus 7.  Who’s excited?  I am…
