Midnight Poll: Are You Getting The Galaxy S III?

This week marks the initial rollout of the Samsung Galaxy S III on various carriers in the US. There’s no question that Samsung’s newest flagship device will be one of the best selling Android phones of 2012, but how many of you are actually getting one? Did the switch to a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 sway your decision? The mighty S III is set to launch June 21st (Thursday) on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile while Verizon has opted to hold off sales until July. So, which model are you getting? Let us know in the comments.

I just did an online chat with customer service. They have absolutely no idea what the pricing information for this phone will be. And the phone is launching this Thursday!! I am getting a really bad feeling about this.

I want the white one but I cannot wait to get it that I am going to get whatever color comes out first. I have my plan already set up to go as soon as the store opens. WHy it cannot be Thrusday Already??!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

If you don't mind me asking, how where you able to reserved them with T-Mobile? I have had no luck at all trying to even get the price.

I am going to order two white S3s as soon as possible so I can keep my current Verizon pricing. I don't like their new plans; they cost more and offer services I don't want or need. Their current plans are far better than the old ones. Anyway, I will sign up before the 28th and maybe if there is nothing better when this contract runs out I will switch carriers.

day one purchase on Thursday on T-Mobile, switched days at work so I could go as soon as the store opens.  ALready got my 64GB microSDXC card last week.  96GB local storage(32 internal 64 external)?  I'll take that.  - )

I second tmo not releasing pricing info, and nonetheless, I will be picking up a white s3 in t-minus 74 hours!

I want to get one really bad, but T-Mobile is really making me upset by refusing to release pricing information. I am purchasing this thing retail. Why can't T-Mobile release pricing when the phone goes on sale this Thursday?

Getting GS3, but can not decide what color. Which color is manlier, Pebble Blue or Marble White?

No S3 for me. After a dozen different Android phones and being oh so tired of lackluster battery life I bought a Razr Maxx and I'm loving the change of waking up on day 2 with 40%+ left in the tank.

Sparklingcyanide 6 pts

sineman11 Battery life on the GSIII has been said to be Incredible by most reviewers so far, I'm sure the GSIII will last 2 days at least.

Sparklngcyanide That has been for the international versions without LTE. I hope it is comparable battery life in the states...

Currently I have a nexus but the bug where the mic cuts out or drops the call isn't something i can continue to put up with. I just use my phome way too much for work. I have a cracked screen so for Verizon to replace it with something new I would have to use my insurance. If I can do that and convince Verizon to give me a S3 for a brand new, still in the box Gnex. Then yes I will get one until the next Nexus drops in the fall.

A great phone but with a 6 month old Galaxy Nexus I cannot justify the change, but otherwise yes I would.

CMH_2090 12 pts

Nope. got the EVO 4G LTE. I will never again own a silly plastic phone let alone one nerds ger a booner with

astontopgears 19 pts

CMH_2090 I prefer plastic phones since they are more durable

CMH_2090 12 pts

 astontopgears lol. you joking right?

Morkeyz 6 pts

CMH_2090 Plastic is much better. Lighter weight, more durable with everyday things, and helps for sliding in and out pockets.

CMH_2090 12 pts

Morkeyz girl pants maybe. but hey if thats the life style you like then by all means go ahead.

but plastic or not means nothing if the phone is not thin.

Morkeyz 6 pts

CMH_2090 Even my jeans, and to be clear they are not skinny jeans or even tight jeans of any sort. I now own an iphone 4 and with the backing on that (which is gorilla glass) it is hard to easily get in and out of my pocket.

Sparklingcyanide 6 pts

CMH_2090 I've owned all uni-body Aluminum htc phones, I'm ready for a change.  I think the GSIII is far more attractive and durable than the One X.  I'm sure I'll buy one of the sure to be uni-body Aluminum Nexus' this holiday but until then, I'm going to enjoy the heck outta' my GSIII.  - )

CMH_2090 12 pts

Sparklngcyanide I'm sure its a nice phone but touch wiz sucks.

picking one up from t-mobile.

Sparklingcyanide 6 pts

landongonsalves get both, thats what I'm doing.

ClarkKent113 12 pts

I'm definitely getting one. I wish I could get it the day it comes out but my upgrade isn't until late August. Sad-face.

I'll get the Pebble Blue 16GB version.

ClarkKent113 You'll probably be better off. You might get a nexus instead! If i were you, i would ditch the contract and go prepaid! YEEY

Morkeyz 6 pts

Why is everyone going or talking about going prepaid?

jhernandez4688 13 pts

Morkeyz I think they may be looking for the lowest possible rate while buying the phone the want at retail? Like getting unlimited for $69.99 (i think this is the price) while still having the best possible phone? Maybe?

astontopgears 19 pts

I'll be picking up a white one on AT&T!!! Cant wait
