First of all, I wanted to express how crazy this phone looks. Sure, it’s just customized Android, but my nerdy side is screaming. It’ll be released on NTT DoCoMo in Japan in very limited quantities. Only 10,000 will be available, and they’ll be scattered across the country. 1,000 will be sold each day at noon for 3 days on DoCoMo’s online store, while the rest will be sold at various retailers. If you really want this phone, you’ll have to pre-order it on June 16th.
It’ll have a gorgeous 4.5″ 720p 3D display, a necessary resolution to accommodate that crazy UI. The 3D for the UI itself is an extra bonus. It isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich, running an older build of 2.3, but the heavy customizations will definitely distract from that. The price is unknown at the moment, but it’s speculated to be around 25,000-30,000 yen ($313.76-$376.51) on a two year contract.
