Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past three days, you have probably been following Google I/O, the largest annual event for everything Google related.
During the initial keynote on Wednesday, Google announced the next iteration of Android (4.1), Jelly Bean and unveiled its brand new media-centric 7-inch tablet, dubbed the Nexus 7. Being Google, just one Nexus product was going to cut it, so they decided to build two. The folks from Mountain View showed off the Nexus Q, a spherical social media hub that allows users to stream Google Play content directly from the cloud. Of course, even that wasn’t enough. The company also managed to build a new Google+ app, bring several new features to the Google Play Store, enhancements to Google TV, offline editing to Google Docs, upgrades to Chrome and officially announce the impending availability of Project Glass to developers.
So, with such a surfeit of announcements, which one did you like most? What could Google have done differently? Sound off in the comments below.
