Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 chip is proving to be one of the most utilized chips of 2012, offering impressive performance and blazing-fast LTE connectivity. The SoC manufacturer isn’t just happy with numbers, though. Qualcomm wants to prove that their dual-core chip offers superior heat efficiency over the competition.
So, did the company decide to take some boring tests while running CPU-intensive tasks? Well, no. Instead, Qualcomm has developed their own state-of-the-art benchmark in which they place refrigerated sticks of butter on some brand new phones to see which one melts the slowest.
