Samsung Files New Patent
Ever wish the icons on your phone stacked and then unfolded like an accordion? Or how about dropped down and scrolled vertically? Well, your dream may be on its way to coming true. The picture above is part of a patent recently submitted by Samsung for mobile phones. No details yet as to when this will be implemented and on what platform (if it’s even used at all). Even so, it’s definitely a unique way to organize your phone. What do you think?
As long as it was an option rather than the norm. I'm sure a lot of people are happy with the way folders are as it stands and might be put off with having something change so radically.
Apple seem to put in for strange patents all the time too.
I'm sure it was a design team brainstorm meeting and some management decided to put in for the patent "just in case"!
