U.S. Cellular has announced that they are now taking pre-orders online for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 and will be available in July. This is the first time that we’ve seen a phone release on the regional network at the same time as it’s released on the bigger carriers. The 16GB version of the S3 will arrive in either Marble White or Pebble Blue while the 32GB version gets delivered in only Marble White.
The 16GB will set you back $199 upfront while the 32GB will drop at a cost of $249. These prices are after a $100 mail-in rebate and only available on contract or with subsidies. Unfortunately, U.S. Cellular has not announced any off contract prices for the Samsung Galaxy 3.
I’m not a current U.S. cellular customer, but if I knew this device was coming to my carrier, I’d make sure I save the rewards points I’ve accumulated and use them to help subsidize this great device.
Are you excited to see the Galaxy S3 come to U.S. Cellular at the same time it is released on other carriers?
