US Judge Grants Apple A Ban On The Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Back in February, Apple asked for an injunction on Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus device and the court has finally made a decision to grant the motion and ban the Galaxy Nexus. There were four patents involved in the case but the official court release hasn’t been made available to the public yet so we’re still in the dark as to what patents caused the ban. This is obviously a big blow for both Samsung and Google seeing as Jelly Bean was just announced and will be hitting the Galaxy Nexus very soon. How do you all feel to this latest ruling by the court?

 WilliamAlmes it's a preliminary injunction, meaning Samsung still has a chance to prove that it isn't infringing any patents. And this is only in the US as of right now.

 WilliamAlmes Apple has to pony up $100 million in order for the injunction to take effect. This amount is the assumed cost to Samsung should the injunction be thrown out.

 WilliamAlmes Also it only Bans the Galaxy Nexus, not the Nexus program. It would be stupid for Apple to go along with this after the phone was put out. So its not like there going to recall the Galaxy Nexus.

all apple is good for is suing people over crap last i checked the galaxy nexus slide to unlock is nothing like the iphone we can actually slide to either camera(which was before iphone added the option) or now with jelly bean google search from lock screen apple only slide left or right  nexus full circle if custom rom can add sms  or any other app to lock screen samsung or any other company should sue apple when they finally come from 2007 and upgrade to bigger then 3.5 inch screen? because wouldnt that be  apple copying someone else? dang hypocrites

Apple iPhone was released since June 2007...5 years ago!!! Ever since everyone else clones this smart phone or as much alike ZZZzzZzzzZzzzzZZZ...Apple rules!!!!! Not the only phone company...but why others dont create original stuff and invest in geniuses as Apple does????

 Maraiah Dude Apple sucks.  There are so many things you can do on a Nexus device that you cant on any CrApple device. Just to make a point I'll give you a list:

Over Clocking

Live Wallpaper

Google Wallet (For you Neanderthal Mac Fans that means digital credit card)

Facial Recognition

Google Beam

An Actual 4g connection

No Shutter lag

Better Rooting (Gel Breaking for Apple)

Widgets

Better screen resoulution and size

 Maraiah What Apple is good at is making people think the things they come out with are revolutionary when they are really just evolutionary. Just because they build on their products and come out with new OSes doesn't mean that they are changing the phone market like they make people believe. The problem is most people are too ignorant to know what's really going on so they just blindly buy their products because Apple's fancy commercials tell them too. They have become so mainstream that literally anything they do is worshipped by the general public. Scary world we are living in...

 TonyAvila You will be fine. As a matter of fact anyone can still buy a Nexus, this decision will be tied up in court for a little bit before any real action is taken
