Xperia Mini Pro Receives Android 4.0 OTA Update
For those of you rocking Sony’s Xperia Mini Pro, you’ll be glad to hear that the company has kept their promise and is now pushing Ice Cream Sandwich to the device. The update is built on Google’s latest release, version 4.0.4, so it includes all of their bug and security fixes. If you’ve got an Xperia Mini Pro, you should get the usual notification on the screen prompting you to download and install the update. Keep in mind you will then need to plug in your handset to the computer and continue the installation through Sony’s PC Companion or Brdige for Mac programs. I've updated from 2.3 to 4.0.4, the phone works great. The upgrade process was quite fast (about 10min). I've not noticed extra features yet nor bugs. The icons and visual effects changed a bit, the installed application are still working.
Slightly slower on some programs (games) but nothing blocking. The phone just lost my playlists in the music application.
