Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Now Rolling Out To Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ Handsets

Just days after the handset returned to the Play Store, Google has officially announced the rollout of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ devices. Users should receive a prompt to update OTA over the next couple of days. However, if you haven’t been notified yet or just aren’t the patient type, you can always jump into Settings > About phone > System updates to pull the update manually.

While CDMA Galaxy Nexus users won’t be getting the update immediately, Google has promised to satisfy your sweet tooth “later this month”

The Galaxy Nexus update marks the initial rollout of Jelly Bean for Google devices, with the Nexus S and Motorola Xoom to follow suit. So, what are you waiting for? After you’ve updated, let us know what you think of the new software in the comments.

roboguy12 My guess is probably soon. Within the next week or two, I would imagine.
