ASUS Wants You To Know, Your Future Nexus 7 Tablet Is “Covered”
The Nexus 7 tablet already seems bound to be a success, perhaps one of the most successful Android tablets to date when it drops later this month. ASUS, for their part wants you to know that they will have a set of colorful covers to help protect and beautify your Nexus 7 tablet. Unfortunately, ASUS isn’t providing any pricing or availability details, but we expect it won’t be to long after the tablet itself is available that we’ll see these up for sale. In a way, these remind me of Apple’s iPad covers and that’s a good thing, I see those everywhere. It would be nice to see the Nexus 7 tablet everywhere.
For me the iPad was just too slippery to hold in one hand without a case, even my kids Kindle Fire's were slippery without some sort of case with rough texture so it holds a firm grip. A small 7" tablet if you have hands that sweat really needs something to grip. Trust me, after time most people would prefer a case with some grip versus using the tablet without a case, especially the cases with stands built in and others that allow you to hold it one handed.
