(Updated) Galaxy Nexus Ban Stays, Samsung Denied Request To Continue Selling Device
Updated: According to AllThingsD, Samsung and Google are working to “imminently” push out a software fix that works around the “Universal Search” patent that is the main violation behind the injunction.
Some not so good news to kick off the Fourth of July as U.S District Judge Lucy Koh has denied Samsung’s request to stay the injunction on the Galaxy Nexus pending resolution of an appeal reports Reuters. It’s been 24 hours of not so good luck for Samsung as yesterday saw a similar appeal for the resumption of Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales which also was denied.
Oh Samsung, keep fighting the good fight.
