Google Wallet Running On Any Galaxy S III

So the clever devs at XDA have gotten Google Wallet to run on the Verizon Galaxy S III (like in the video) along with any other variant of the Galaxy S III. As you probably know, Verizon T-Mobile and AT&T block all their phones from using Wallet, due to having their own system come out soon (ISIS, if you didn’t know). Thus most users are stuck with no mobile payments. However, just like with the Galaxy Nexus, they have gotten it working for rooted users.

It’s not the easiest procedure, so we warn you: this procedure will void your warranty, and no one but you is responsible for any possible damages. Continue at your own risk.

Now that that’s done, you can hit the source link and read the instructions carefully before flashing the ZIPs. Choose the ZIP corresponding to your phone, make sure not to flash the wrong one. And enjoy Google Wallet payments!

This is great. I was just reading over the weeking how some clown on the east coast actually thinks Google is anti-competitive. Yet it is the carriers that are even more so, acting monopolistic by forcing their subscribers to use only what they offer AND at present they have nothing to offer. Personally, it seems like the really bullies and monopoly-minded companies are 1) Apple, 2) Microsoft, 3) Verizon & ATT, 4) all the bully politicians being bought out by the first 3.
